A Bahá'í Colouring Book

I remember having this book when I was a small kid and I still do actually but I never colored it. Wonder why? The beautiful drawings of the Holy places by Dorrine Sadilek just wants me to treasure it...till today.

I just never expected to find this book online here
You can also download two more activity books at Wellspring Resources for Baha'i Children's Classes.

Games

Blind Man's Bluff
Ages 5 to 8

Number of participants: At least six, plus an adult supervisor

What players will need: A blindfold

Length of time: About 30 minutes to an hour

Rules of the game:

Have one child volunteer to be the "blind man," and blindfold him while the rest of the players form a circle around him. One of the children spins the blind man around three times. After this, the blind man randomly approaches one of the players (make sure he doesn't trip on anything!), touches her face and hair, and tries to figure out who she is. The blind man has three chances to guess the child's name. If he does, he takes her place in the circle and she becomes the next blind man. Otherwise, he stays inside the circle for the next round of play. There are no winners or losers in this game; it ends when each child has had a chance to be the blind man.

What's Inside the Box?
Ages 3 to 4

Also known as: Feelies

Number of participants: At least four

What players will need: A shoe box or bag and a variety of non-sharp objects

Length of time: About 30 minutes

Rules of the game:

To prepare, find a shoe box or a bag and place of variety of non-sharp objects inside. For example, you might include a sponge, a watch, a tape, a toy car, a rubber bath toy, a pen, and raw noodles. After all the objects are in the box, cut a hole in the lid large enough for a child to stick a hand through, and tape the lid shut. To play, give each child a minute to stick a hand in the box, guess what's inside, and whisper her guesses to you. Record each child's guesses on a piece of paper. The one who correctly identifies the most items wins.

Make everyone happy
1.       Give each person a piece of paper and a pencil.
2.       Everyone writes their name on the top of the sheet, and passes it on to the next.
3.       The new person looks at the name on top, and at the bottom of the sheet writes down one thing they like about that person.
4.       The writing is folded over, and the sheet passed on to the next person.
5.       As soon as they receive the sheet, everyone writes something they like about the person whose name is at the top, folds it over and passes it on.
6.       When the sheets return to their owners they can be read quietly and taken home. The people can look at them when they need cheering up.
